If you wish to pray for another child from the congregation, sign-ups for the adults will be available on Sunday, August 25th

Both the adults doing the praying and the parents that wish their child(ren) to participate will be required to sign up, ideally before Sunday, September 8th.

The adults doing the praying should not reveal their identity until the end of the school year at the FIF Reveal Party. We are also asking that both the adults praying and the children/youth participating in this ministry, to commit to attend the Reveal Party taking place on a Sunday in May 4, 2025.

In order to make this ministry a success, we need the commitment of at least fifty adults, men and women, individually or as couples to pray for a specific child or youth for this whole school year. The prayers are important, but the bigger commitment is for the adults to send them birthday cards, encouraging notes, and holiday cards too, again anonymously, so the child/youth knows you are indeed praying for their safety, their learning at both school and at church. Then at the end of the school year, in May, your child/youth will meet their Friend In Faith at our FIF Reveal Party to meet your new friend in our church! This ministry helps us build relationships in Christ!

Adults, what you need to do is this, you will need to sign up here or on Sunday, August 25th at the table in the Welcome Center. You will then receive a child’s name, address and birthdate in the next few weeks (September 8th), just begin praying daily and send that note to let them know anonymously that you are praying for them. Send a couple through the school year, at exams time, holidays, their birthday; it is an important part of the FIF Ministry.
