We are so excited for the 2026 summer! It is sure to be filled with fun, fellowship, and most importantly, Jesus! These events listed are alongside our weekly programming. Please refer to the church calendar for weekly programming schedules alongside special events. Each event listed has a price associated, but we do not want any family or child to feel as though money is an obstacle for participation in fellowship and events so please ask Pastor Sydney (
) about scholarships for summer events should you be interested!

- May 17 - Youth Prayer Breakfast at Chic-Fil-A for National Day of Prayer - Free
Start Time: 6:30 AM at Chic-Fil-A
End Time: 7:15 AM
Location: 1021 Dixieland Rd, Harlingen, TX 78552
We will meet as a youth group together at Chic-Fil-A for a time of prayer and fellowship over breakfast. Breakfast will be paid for by the church. We will finish by 7:15am to ensure students get to school before 8am. The van will be available to take students who attend Moises V. Vela Middle School and Harlingen High School South. All others will be asked to make other travel arrangements. If travel arrangements are to ride with another youth member's parent or a youth member who can drive, you must let Pastor Sydney know!
- May 28 - Youth Paintball Trip - $25 per youth (Includes paintball and dinner)
Meeting Time: 2:00 PM at FMC Harlingen
Departure Time: 2:15 PM
Return Time: 8:15 PM to FMC Harlingen
Location: Delta Field Paintball, 5605 TX-107, McAllen, TX 78504
We will meet as a youth group at FMC Harlingen and go over rules for paintball and then load up. We will be leaving in the church van at 2:15pm as the location is almost an hour away, and our paintball time begins at 3:30pm. We should conclude our paintball battle around 6pm or before. Once we are finished, we will grab dinner in McAllen and head home. We should arrive back at FMC Harlingen around 8:15pm.

Meeting Time: Saturday, June 13 @ 7:30PM at FMC Harlingen
End Time: Sunday, June 14 @ 12PM at FMC Harlingen
Location: Harlingen, TX and FMC Harlingen
We will meet as a youth group at FMC Harlingen at 7:30am for breakfast and then depart to our mission project somewhere in and around Harlingen. Once completed, we will come back to FMC Harlingen for lunch and a time of rest. At 3:30pm, we will leave to go to South Padre Island for time on the beach and worship. We will then return to FMC Harlingen around 9pm for lock-in fun and to continue our mission work by baking cupcakes to be distributed Sunday morning to church members. Sunday morning, we as a group will attend the 9am and 11am service together. In between the services, we as a group will serve cupcakes to the congregation. We will conclude our mission trip/lock in at 12pm at the end of the 11am service.
- June 18 - Guys Day Out - $25 (Includes drinks, snacks, and fishing tour on the bay)

Location: South Padre Island, TX (Captain Murphy's Isla Tours - Bay Fishing Trip)
This one will be just for the fellas (and Pastor Sydney)! We will meet at FMC Harlingen and ride together in the van. Our start time for the fishing trip will be 1pm. The church will provide snacks and water, but all are encourage to bring their own bag lunch/dinner or extra snacks for they day. Our tour will end at 5pm. We will promptly begin returning home at that time to be back at FMC Harlingen around 6pm. - June 24 - Youth Work Day - FREE (Lunch included)

This will be a time for us as a youth group to hangout and either work in the Second Chance Thrift Store or work on our youth space in the RCC.
- JUNE 26-30 - REVIVE YOUTH SUMMER CAMP!!! - $425 (Includes cost of t-shirt, travel meals, and camp itself.)
($100 deposit due by April 15 and remaining balance due by June 8. A camp registration link will be sent once deposit is paid.)
There will be camp meetings to go over expectations with youth and families on June 17th and June 24th at 6pm. If you are unable to attend, please let Pastor Sydney know asap so we can set up a separate meeting time.

We will start off by going to brunch somewhere around Harlingen, going to get our nails done (youth can choose between a manicure or a pedicure), and then we will go either to Pastor Sydney's house or to the church and watch a movie while we do a craft together! - July 10 - Game Night - FREE

Location: FMC Harlingen in the RCC
This will just be a time for us to all hangout as a youth group playing games, watching movies, and enjoying some snacks! - July 17 - Waterpark Day - $45 + $15 for lunch (Youth who help with VBS will go for free as a thank you, but will still need to bring lunch money of around $15-$20).

We will leave from FMC Harlingen in the morning and then head to Beach Waterpark on South Padre Island. We will eat lunch at the waterpark and stay until 4:00pm. We will then load up and head back to the church to be there by 5:00pm for pick up. PLEASE SEND SUNSCREEN AND TOWELS WITH YOUR YOUTH! - July 23 - Let's Get Crafty! - $35 (Includes cost of group craft & lunch)

Location: Hands In Art Studio, 521 N Conway Mission, TX
We will leave from FMC Harlingen to go to Hands In Art Studio for a time of pottery painting as a group! We will eat lunch there, and after finishing our craft, we will return home for pick up at FMC Harlingen around 4pm. - July 30 - END OF SUMMER MYSTERY TRIP!!! - $50 (Includes travel, multiple activities, and 3 course mystery meal)
